While looking at pictures of old architecture, I came up with the concept of wanting to paint abstract cities and street scenes. Rendezvous (Luminous Lane) captures the energy of a bustling city featuring iconic peaked roof buildings, a horse and carriage and an elegant lamppost. One of my favorite details are the Posca pen accents which make the buildings pop with color. This is 20x20 inches and painted with heavy body acrylics on a 1.5 inch deep canvas.
