To create "Serendipity" I followed an intuitive approach where I didn't have any expectation of the outcome for the piece. Therefore I followed the flow of where each step led me and kept adding colors that brought me joy. The only inspiration I had came from shapes you would find in nature.
 
Currently hanging at the Goldfinch Gallery in Colwood until February 1 for the Out of the Ordinary Show.
 
This piece uses painted tissue paper, gloss medium, heavy body acrylic paints and acrylic ink. One of my favorite mixed media abstracts. Presented on 16x16 inch cradled wood panel made in Canada.
