Sanguine started out as one piece then turned into another over the course of a year of contemplating what to do with it. It evolved along the same lines as my piece Enchanted, where I wanted to add a surreal fantasy effect to poppies that balanced beauty with darkness. This floral abstract is 24x24 inches on gallery wrap canvas.
